So I'm beauty obsessed as you've probably guessed. Anyway after much research on contouring I came across an article by Kim Kardashian's Mua and pictures tweeted by Kim with her covered in a yellow powder. I read more into and found its by a company called Ben Nye and used predominantly in stage an theatre products it's a finely milled powder that's apparently perfect for setting under eye concealer and Kim has it applied over areas to highlight. Anyway I found it on eBay but seemed expensive, I managed to track it down at stage door in Stockport and order 42g for 11.50 - cheap consider a mac loose powder is around £20 for 8g! Anyway bagged and and it arrived yeterday. Firstly the packaging is horrendous think small talc bottle, the powder goes everywhere!!! I cleaned out and old Clinique loose powder tub and have transferred half the bottle of banana powder into it. I tried it last night to set my under eye concealer (MAC moisture over nw20) I have to say it certainly leaves your make up set an super smooth my only gripes are that the first ingredient is talc this can be a little harsh for sensitive skin like mine an causes break outs so I won't use everyday. The other thing that worried me a little was I left it on whilst I did the rest of my make up (this is what Kim does!) anyway this left me feeling that my eyes looked a little yellow (jaundice) underneath my husband even said that powder makes you look poorly :-/ anyway next plan of action is tomorrow ill just sweep it under eyes rather than letting it settle too heavily. Hoping this works as it certainly did the trick in setting my concealer that usually creases super easily. Will update once I've tried sweeping it over otherwise ill eBay it lol.
Thanks For reading Kelly xx
